Robert Edward Borbidge AO – Senior Advisor


    The Honourable Robert Borbidge AO was the 35th Premier of Queensland and served in the State Parliament as member for Surfers Paradise for just over 20 years.

    During this time he held a number of senior positions including senior Ministries, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Leader of the Opposition and Premier.
    Since his resignation from the Queensland Parliament in 2001, he has held a number of Board positions in both private and publicly listed companies.

    He is currently Chairman of Cedar Creek Cellars, Chair of the Board of Advice for the Institute for Glycomics at Griffith University, a member of the Council of Griffith University and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Friends of Griffith University (incorporated in the USA).

    He is the Chairman of Lift Flight Australia which is now one of the world’s largest not-for-profit aero medical and rescue providers, servicing 75 percent of Queensland’s population with a fleet of 13 helicopters and 3 jests operating from 8 bases across the State.

    Moreover, he is also the Chair of the Legacy Committee for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Chair of Study Gold Coast, a collaborative venture between the region’s major universities and education providers Senior Counsel for Government advisory services group GovStrat.

    In 2006, he was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia and awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Griffith University.

    With consent to act as the senior advisor for GWM Resources NL, it will help the company to strengthen the abilities in corporation management and strategic planning and implantation.

    De Hong Yu – CEO







    Dehong Yu has had 20 years of experience and has conducted a broad range of business ventures in Australia and China, with an extensive network of contacts in both the government and private sector. He has headed private companies successfully in a range of consulting, international trade, finance and infrastructure development enterprises. In addition, he has had three years of experience in a public company. Dehong brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business of GWM Resources NL. His skills will aid in taking advantage of renewed interest by major Chinese mining companies in the rare earth minerals currently underdeveloped in exploration in Australia and is responsible for developing the outlook, corresponding investment theses, and asset allocation. De Hong’s efforts continue to be focused on gaining new resources and exploring existing potential that will create a solid and successful enterprise for many years to come.

    Ian David Freeland(B.E. Mining Hons I, MAusIMM,and  JP) – Mining Senior Advisor 







    Mr Ian Freeland a qualified mining engineer with a professional mining career spanning more than 40 years, both in the private and public sectors within Australia and overseas. Much of this work involved project development as well as roles in tenement, safety and environmental management.

    Ian has wide experience in operating surface and underground gold and gemstone mines and hard rock quarries. Ian continues to consult to many companies regarding mineral processing with a focus on optimizing gold recovery.

    Richard Skelly(B.A., Dip. Ed.) - Sale and Marketing Manager

    Mr Skelly’s business career has included a wide variety of enterprises from manufacturing and retailing to franchising. Not only has Richard held executive positions in most of the companies that he has been involved with but for the most part his has had a strong equity position and often was a founding member of the organization.

    From 2007, Richard has been involved in the developing and marketing of natural health products sourced from both Australia and New Zealand.

    Richard has always had a strong interest in and flair for marketing irrespective of the product or service.

    He has also been involving with a number of mineral projects and successful in marketing and developing of same.
    He has had the privilege of engaging with Australian groups like BioConcepts, Berringa Honey, Dairy Pac, Jardine Pharmaceuticals [Dr Red] and the Australian Beef and Bone Co. as well as some mining companies.

    Guangyu Zu – Non-Executive Director


    Mr Guangyu Zu joined GWM Resources NL in 2012, with a developed professional financial background in the accounting and finance industries. Mr Zu has high competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards. Currently Mr Zu is a senior accountant and President of Heilongjiang Zhongxin Public Accountant firm. He established this accountant firm and now has developed up to ten million RMB dollars in annual company income. Mr Guangyu Zu is currently also a Director and President of Beijing Huashan Construction Engineering Consulting Firm and the Firm has very extensive experience managing large-scale projects from the requirements gathering phase to completion. He has developed this firm to one of the largest construction consulting companies in China and over 400 staff in his company. With his lead, all of his accounting firms and construction consulting firms have grown to be very successful in China. With his role, he brings trustworthy business instinct, and a desire to ensure the financial safety of GWM Resources.

     Li Zhe – Director of Chinese Marketing and Finance







    Li Zhe is a successful Chinese businessman who has studied higher education in Shanghai, Tokyo and America. He brings his entrepreneurial skills to Mentech Corporations as the Chairman of the board of Xiamen Mentech Imp. And Exp. Co. Ltd. and Chairman of the Board of Mentech Enterprises Co. Ltd. Li Zhe plays a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations. His expertise in the emerging Chinese Economic Strategy will allow GWM Resources NL many opportunities to expand their enterprise and his aim is to keep a strong financial base for the company to extend its interests while maintaining solid infrastructures.
